On February 23, 2022, SAMHSA hosted webinar #4 of the “Talk. They Hear You.”® campaign’s new student assistance program (SAP) webinar series. This series builds on the campaign’s “Student Assistance – A Guide for School Administrators” and related resources for student assistance professionals and programs. It also highlights select SAP elements and showcases states that are doing exceptional work in this area. Webinar #4 focused on the following: 1) The meaning of quality implementation; 2) Steps within the internal referral process; 3) Direct services to students; and 4) Understanding risks and protective factors.
